Our pillars

Six commitments, tracked annually.

We publish progress against each of these every fiscal year — even when the news is mixed.

Sustainable sourcing

Long-term forward contracts with farmer co-operatives, paying premiums for verified-good agronomic practices. We are actively expanding the share of regen-ag and organic-certified suppliers in our portfolio.

  • 72% direct-sourced
  • 18% organic-certified
  • 100% traceable

Farmer welfare

Above-market pricing during glut years, advance payments at sowing, and a smallholder training programme co-run with local agronomists. Smallholder women growers are a priority partner group.

  • 8,400+ farmers paid above MSP
  • Avg. 22% premium

Water & soil stewardship

We co-finance drip-irrigation conversions and soil-health camps in the sesame & spice belts we source from. Less water in, more nutrition out.

  • 1,200 ha under drip
  • 11 soil-camp partner districts

Circular packaging

Phasing out single-use plastic where buyers and regulation allow. Our jute-bag share has doubled in 18 months, and our disposable line is shifting to compostable PLA-lined paper.

  • +104% jute share YoY
  • 3 SKUs PLA-compostable

Cleaner processing

Our partner processing units are switching to solar pre-heat and high-efficiency optical sorters that reduce energy per tonne of throughput.

  • 32% energy per MT ↓
  • 1.4 MW partner solar

Climate disclosures

We track Scope 1, 2, and select Scope 3 emissions for the categories where buyers ask. Our 2026 target: published CDP-aligned report for all flagship SKUs.

  • Sesame & rice Scope 1+2 tracked
  • CDP report — 2026
